This policy explains what information Coupeal (https://coupeal.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. Coupeal is run by Coupeal, Irvine, CA 92614, United States. Email: [email protected].
If you ask to be emailed when a store has a new code, we store your email address, the store you picked and the date. We use it only to send those alerts. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed.
When you click a link to a store, we record the store, the page you clicked from, the time and your country (worked out from your connection, not your exact location). We don't store your IP address with this record. We use it to count clicks and see which pages are useful.
When you vote, we store the store, the code, your answer and a one-way code made from your IP address and the date. The one-way code stops the same person voting many times a day; it can't be turned back into your IP address.
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against attacks. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers. See the Cloudflare privacy policy and the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
Coupeal doesn't set its own cookies or use advertising trackers. Copying a code uses your device's clipboard only when you tap the button.
Links to stores contain a referral tag so the store knows you came from Coupeal. The store may set its own cookies to track that referral. Once you're on a store's website, its own privacy policy applies.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website (hosting, database and email delivery), who may use it only to provide those services, and when the law requires it.
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority. We use your email address based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
Coupeal is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you think a child has given us their email, contact us and we'll delete it.
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. We use providers that protect information with standard safeguards.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
